Hard to tell, we weren't forecast the snow we had last week, and it depends if any of the weather approaching from the SE reaches us, and if as what?? Current temps mean possibly sleet or rain. Don't think we are forecast any snow until at least Tue/Wed possibly, but hey, you never know, keep your eye on the rainfall chart. http://www.raintoday.co.uk/

-0.5 here in sunny (at the moment) Norbreck, got down to -7c last night early on then warmed to -4c. I can see snow clouds to the North East of me passsing over the distant pennines, does anyone think they well reach here, if the wind direction is right of course!! Edited now clouding over above me!!

According to Accuweather?? forecast snow between midnight and 3AM for my postcode (FY5), can't see where its going to come from though looking at present radar.

Finally stopped here on the Fylde coast about 12:30 after 5 and a half hours non stop snow, probaby had about 6 inch snow, but only 3 inch depth due to undermelt. Temp 0.4 at the mo, just had a look North up the coast and can see blue sky from east to west, so think that is probably it for the Fylde today, no doubt when the clear sky's arrive the temperature will plummet.

Still snowing here in Norbreck Since 7am this morning, went light for the past hour, but now thumping it down again with very large flakes, hopefully it will work its way down to you guy's in Lytham.

Thanks for that, still no sign of snow stopping, slightly worried about the temp though, has risen from -1.5 to -0.2 in the past hour, with not understanding charts, dp's etc, im thinking it may well turn to rain soon, hope not!!

Didn't start snowing till around 7Am here in Norbreck, then it battered it down, still coming down heavy at the moment, about 3-4 inch of lying snow at the moment. Had to take the wife to work as she hasn't driven in snow before, and, Blackpool council, no gritting of roads or pavements. Unbelievable

Sorry to hear you will be on the (Gene Kelly) open stand as we call it for obvious reasons, singing in the rain etc... Our last two home games (WBA and Sheff Wed) were posponed due to frozen pitch, mainly to our tight fisted chairman (Oyson) not prepared to pay for covers. Fleetwood Town (7 miles from Bloomfield Rd) invested in pitch covers and both their games went ahead, all the Blackpool fans are going nuts with Oyston. If we have any sort of frost Friday night, then i would advise you keep your eye on sky sports news, as there could be a early pitch inspection. As i speak, weather at the mo quite mild, 4c no snow or frost, and the grass out back has thawed, enjoy the game (if it goes ahead) we owe you one from the league defeat, and hope it stays dry and calm for you.

Cloudy but dry (at the moment) here @ Norbreck on the coast, temp currently 4.9 but feeling very cold in the wind, no snow prospects for the Fylde Coast I take??

Last post from me as well, currently here at Norbreck, -0.3c, intermittent snow showers, snowing at the moment, about 2inch in the past hour, and by the looks of radar more on the way, good night all.

Nothing special here in Norbreck at the moment, temp currently at -0.3, previous fall an hour ago has frozen, patchy cloud above, looks cloudy as far as i can tell to the west, would expect maybe something in about 20 min going off the radar.

10 Mins of light snow, larger flakes now, hopefully the picture will attach, and show what has just been dumped. Temp risen now to exactly 0c

Moderate fall at the moment here in Norbreck, dumped the snow on my IP camera picture in 5 mins, still falling, temp still 0.1c

Was snow for about 2 mins LOL, few clouds in a clear sky, just ice granules now, never mind, temp steady at the mo at -0.1c. The few flakes that fell did stick immediately due to frozen ground, so any further dusting tonight should lay, until the temp rises early doors.

Light to Moderate @ Norbreck, sticking to cold surfaces (ie car, coal bunker) roads still clear at the mo as not heavy enough, keep going.....

Crikey, must have been really localised, or just looked at the right time. Still on the car though, the stars and moon shining also, but when security light comes on can see crystals in the air and the odd flake, so its definately in the air.

Hi there, was more like polystyrene than snow, just a dusting on the car, i agree, not looking good for us on the coast, looks like it will be missing us on the forecast maps, never mind, being a train driver no doubt my trips over to east lancs will at least let me see some snow cover.
