    TWO's autumn foresast is online. There's also a brief note on winter. Won't go into detail. That's for the media/internet forecasts forum.

    Fantastic Thunderstorm just moving away here in East Leeds. Overhead Lightning, localised flooding and I saw a very strange lightning strike. Just a bright blue, extremley loud explosion infront of me as I was driving through Rothwell on the A639. Similar to elecrtical lines arking but at low down in the sky. Edit: It seems like it's similar to what happened round here in 2004. Torrrential rain for over an hour. Lots of flooding. Central Wakefield is getting a right drenching with severe flooding.

    Forgive me, (novice asking stupid questions) but what do those charts show????? :blush: I'm particulally interested in people's views for late September and early October.

    The above Thunderstorm started at 16.20 where I work in Beeston. Torrential rain lasted a good half hour - 40 mins at least.

    TWO have a new 45 day outlook out now which covers the period from February 1st till mid-March. It points to Temperatures to be above average for the first 45 dats with a potential for a short but cold spell during February before milder weather returns. They also expect an increasing mobile weather pattern to develop which will be in contrast to the current blocked pattern as they are saying on their main page.     The signs are promising but i'm refusing to get exited as the great british weather always surprises us somehow. Chrismas is coming up. Gonna ask santa for a mid atlantic block
