The highest windspeed 48.2 km/h was during this storm, just before it began to rain.

The solar powered gardenlighting went on (the first photo's were made at around 17:00h).
But it looked more scary than it realy was :o

After two beautiful anvils the sky turned red over Amersfoort, Netherlands.
I couln'd stop photographing those stunning scarlet skies.

In this storm they counted 49.000 lightning discharges in 24 hours......

Very hard to take a lightning photo in daylight.

For more than 2 hours heavy lichtning, rain and windgusts battered Amersfoort (in the center of the Netherlands).

Yesterday I took these photo's trough the telescope of the Public Observatory Schothorst in Amersfoort, Netherlands.
Several prominences were visible, but no sunspots yet.
