    Yup, a pretty miserable day today. Nice frost on the trees though.

    Current temp is -2.6*C in Pitsford. Today reached the dizzying heights of -2.2*C!

    Cold Looks like we'll be getting some snow Friday night/Saturday morning. Though this still isn't 100% as it's 48 hours away. If this does happen though, we should be getting a fair amount.

    If these models verify, we could all be in for a pasting... And on top of that, the temps overnight Saturday would be stupidly cold!

    There's quite a lot of activity coming in off the Irish Sea. They look quite heavy too. Has anyone looked at the Model Output Discussion thread? Looks like we could be getting a decent amount of snow again by the end of the week:

    Light snow in Northampton (Brixworth atm) - should start to get heavier as the morning goes on.

    I'm confident that we will get snow. Temp and dew point are still below freezing, which will help.

    Got around 2cm just outside Northampton (West). Current temp is -0.6*C and DP is the same, humidity 100%. Hoping to get at least 5cm by the end of today (and that includes the Northampton snowshield)

    Looks like Northants will get a decent amount of snow this year, seeing as we usually seem to be the unlucky ones!

    Also got a massive icicle forming on the lamppost outside my house. About 6 inches from the looks of it.

    Currently -0.4*c here. still snowing a little bit, but I think the heaviest has passed.

    Just measured 2 inches on top of my car. I expect maybe a few more if the snow stays like this for another hour!
