    I think the ground/snow is too wet for it to settle. Few degrees lower and it would be perfect. Seems to have stalled over Northampton for a bit according to the radar

    I think thats on track to hit us. How long has it been snowing there?

    Light snow started here. Seems to be sticking ot me car, but it's only a few flakes so it's not going to amount to much.

    Dew point has dropped for 1*C to 0*C in my area recently. Temp drops slightly to 1.2*C, but wind chill has significantly changed - from -8*C to 1*C Though that could be the fact the wind has dropped slightly.

    Hope not - my local weather station is saying ENE winds though. It doesn't look like the system is heading south-ish, yet anyway. Perhaps it will glide in on Easterly winds then start to veer South as it gets close to us.

    Hm, the system coming across the North Sea does seem to be fading away fairly fast. At this rate the showers will be light and widespread.

    Nearest weather station saysit's 1.6*C. Completely overcast, I'm surprised there aren't a few flakes in the air really. And that system coming over from the Netherlands...how slow is it?! Though I suppose that's a good thing when it hits us

    Hmm, to me it looks like it's going to die out before it reaches anywhere near us.

    Looking at the radar, I expect the snow to arrive just SE of Northampton at 4pm latest. Bear in mind that statement is only observational, as I used a stamp book against my monitor to measure how far it had travelled in 15/30 mins.

    They constantly go wrong haha. I was a bit worried the other week when they were forecast 300mph winds with -200*C wind chill

    Nice big beefy cloud coming over West Northampton now. Looks like it should drop some nice stuff!

    Just waht I was thinking...will have to hold out to see what happens tomorrow and into early next week

    Current temp dropped from -1.2*C to -1.6*C in the 30 mins...blue skies currently. Still waiting for those showers!

    Woke up at 6am for a brief moment to see it was snowing quite moderately outside. Got a slight covering on the cars, probably 0.5cm. Keeping an eye on the showers coming in the wash, they've got our name on them!
