Ha, thought I would get your attention
We have finally taken the plunge and bought a 32" Sony LCD TV. Our previous TV was only 21" so it's like being at the cinema at the mo

Today was Princess Tilly's 2nd lot of jabs.
The first went ok but today she seems to be a little upset She's had a dose of Calpol and hopefully it will not affect her any further tonight
It's been such a going on with the reflux thing that I try not to get to wound up about this as well. Since having the Gaviscon she's been much better, smiling and gurgling like she should do. I've managed to convince the Health Visitor that I'm not going doolally but that it's perfectly normal to be a bit stressed considering all the s*** I've been going through recently <_<
Oh well, it's Easter soon.....excuse to eat lots of choccie eggs

3rd set of jabs yesterday for Tilly and boy did she scream
I was worried because she was a bit grizzly last time but she's been ok, if a bit sleepy
I have to get little fella his pre-school jabs but I too chicken to take him at the mo
Driving past our local shop I saw the advertising board for the local paper "Woman's pothole protest" but due to me concentrating on cars coming the other way and the wire mesh put in front of those headlines, I read it as "Woman's profiterole protest" It gave me a lovely mental picture of Wibs and OON and put a big smile on my face

We ventured south today to Devon
Me, Mr Loo, Grandma Loo, Milo and Tilly
First we decided to stalk Wibs in Taunton, to no avail
Then we took a brief tour of other areas of Devon.
I could tell you why we were down in Devon but I would have to kill you if I told you <_<

We had complimentary tickets to the Dunkeswell Airshow today.
The problem was that we had to find accomodation down there The local pub would charge £100 for the night for us all   So hubbie came up with the fantastic idea of camping
The last time I went camping was when I was 14 (a long time ago, just after the dinosaurs )
We ended up at a camp on the top of the Blackdown Hills, just round the corner from the local Glider club
It was horrible Little people were sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cold (as was I) and we had very little sleep between the lot of us
Strangely I had a very vivid dream about both Shuggee and Gordon Ramsay

Where do kids get it from :o Little fella is totally into the 'are we there yet', just where do they learn this :o What is the correct answer ? nothing, No not yet, almost?
I was supposed to get my windscreen fixed today but the guy arrived and told me that as I have Solarglass (tinted blue windscreen) that the repair would be clear and show exactly the same as it is at the mo, so I opted to pay the insurance company £50 to get a new one but I have to wait for them to order a new windscreen
I've only got two days left at work but I'm not feeling very well and getting a bit worried that I won't be well enough to show the new guy how to do every thing
Looking forward to moving next week. There is loads to do but it will be nice to not worry about work and relax a little bit. I'm getting very strong Braxton Hicks already (sorry guys lost you on that one) and I don't think that MiniLoo wants to wait until new year to make an appearance

Oh at last, I've finished work
Today was mega stressful, with lots of sorting out of loose ends etc. Deleting old files, cookies (thanks for the program Paul)
We went out for lunch and this afternoon I got a card, gift voucher and a huge bouquet of flowers, plus I got a bottle of 5th Avenue Perfume from my boss
I will miss working but not the stress
Had a load of other stress with the removal company threatening to drop our move as we have not Completed yet I have assured the chap that we will move on Tuesday but I have to confirm to him first thing tomorrow. I am very tempted to tell him to go take a running jump (polite verson ) but I don't want to cut my nose off to spite my face
Had a emotional departure from little fella's childminder. He's been with her since he was 4 months old and she feels like a part of the family. She gave him a huge remote control car, which is charging at the moment and some other things for xmas I got her some flowers from Next, which she was really happy about
May try to see my Grandma tomorrow before we depart. Little fella loves going to see her but the highlight of his trips are playing with my auntie's penny savings - I'm sure he will play with them longer than the remote car

Found some eggs that something had managed to lay on a speaker for the suround sound I was a bit worried they were spider eggs or worse
Took it outside to remove them and realised that they were tidy little ladybirds. I've never seen them before and they were really tiny and cute (about 1mm). I felt a bit guilty for rehousing them so kept popping out to turn them back over when they tipped over
Otherwise it's been a warm, muggy day. I'm hoping we get some nice storms tonight to clear the air a bit
Got a phone call from the practice nurse reminding me I'm overdue a blood test for Vitamin B12 deficiency.....grrr. I know that it's a good thing, because if I am deficient then I can have a course of injections and feel lots better but I hate having blood taken I also need them to test for severly aching joints I've been suffering from recently (I must be getting old )

Well today was the first day at work for almost a year It was very strange and seriously boring
I really missed little people but was disappointed to find out that they did not really miss me <_<

Today has been a bit of a bad day

First my strap on my (Clarkes) shoes broke, so I had to fix it with a paperclip

Second I didn't have my house keys (long story) so got home with two tired, hungry children. Thankfully a neighbour was home and we took refuge waiting for Mr Loo to return.

Thirdly I find out that my nextdoor neighbour died this morning (not the one we went to). He was a nice guy, I didn't see him too often but used to take him runner beans which he loved.

Mr Loo did the Commando Challege this weekend. Three miles of crawling through tunnels and running through mud etc. I got him some trousers from a charity shop because you have to throw them away afterwards. He's got lots of bruises and achy muscles but I'm proud that he did it and raised some money for charity.

Had a stressful time this weekend <_<
Princess Tilly has been a bit of a pain going to sleep. It's strange in that little fella was a dream going to sleep but used to spend the afternoon screaming his head off with colic. She seems to want to be cuddled all the time
Today I just fed her when she wanted and didn't stress too much about sleep times and she fed and fed and fed  It was at reasonable intervals but fed loads. But the good news was that she went to sleep at 7.10pm without a peep
I hope this is the start of some progess in the feed/sleep front

Tonight I went out to get basic provisions, fruit, milk and wine So I bought a punnet of peaches, a bag of apples and some bananas. I picked some bananas that didn't look too ripe and looked into the box. There was a strange green/yellow coloured object next to some bananas. I looked a bit more closely and realised it was a dead frog. It looked quite fancy, green, black and yellow. I mentioned to the checkout guy that he might want to remove this frog and they went and recovered it and what it's fate was after that I don't know Just goes to show you need to to keep your eyes peeled

Back in May we had an offer accepted on a house in the town I now live in.
We've been at their beck and call ever since and now they have decided to take the house off the market. The fact we have been stressed to get a valuation, searches etc really naffs me off
Oh well, what goes around comes around and they will suffer for their decissions
Back to looking in the paper etc for new house

Well it's been a long time since I did a blog entry. What's been going on?
Well we had the builders in to knock down the wall between our kitchen and dining room. We didn't use the dining room as it was north facing and a bit cold but now we don't hardly use the south facing sitting room as the other room is so usable
Princess Tbags has had Chickenpox which was anything but fun. At least she has had it and doesn't have to worry about getting it in later life
I've been on a seminar on starting up my own business. It was very good but has made me ask a lot of questions of myself, the biggest being "am I a risk taker?" I'm not sure at the moment

Been a bit of a while from posting, just been really busy with work and little people
We have finally moved to our new house, although we still have a couple of bits in storage. I have never lived near the sea and it's like being on holiday everyday We have a seaview from our bedroom
Tilly is being a pain in the butt waking up all the time and screaming the house down. I took her to the docs today but he said it was just teething......for 3 months
Work's doing my head in but it pays well

Well I had a my Gall Bladder out on Wednesday. Apparently it's the thing that causes problems when you are fat and fourty. I would like to point out that I am neither :nonono:The operation was ok but my breathing and heart rate got a bit too low and they couldn't wake me up so had to give me adrenalin to bring me round. That and the anethetic in my blood has meant my head's been a bit all over the place the last few days (some would hardly notice the difference ) I've got four very fetching holes in my stomach now and a lot of bruising externally and internally. So I just need to take it easy and not be tempted to clean the house.

Well the last few days have been very blustery. In an attempt to preserve our almost 11 foot sunflower me and little fella spent a lot of time on Thursday evening trying to support the big sunflower...............alas it was felled during the night

Yesterday was a Family day for Mr Loo's work. Kids got covered in mud and enjoyed themselves big time.

Today we did a carboot sale to get rid of some stuff, was ok, took over £70 after the costs

My little fella came home from Nursery yesterday saying "Bonhomme de neige" over and over again.
I asked him what he meant and he said "Snowman" My French is not very good
He loves his new Nursery and is learning so much it's scary but it's all done with fun and there is no pressure for the kids to do anything they don't want to do, they just do it because they really enjoy it
I went to a coffee morning at the school this morning in an attempt to meet new people in the area. It was interesting, with lots of mums and I actually had the b***s to talk to some of them (the bump does help )
  19. Cakie
I like to be busy, strange to spme but the worst thing you can do to me is not give me anything to do.................today was that day

Oh I am soooooooooo bored at the mo
Can't do much without getting really tired/sore. Went swimming with little fella this morning which was quite nice to relieve some of the weight I'm lugging around at the mo
I was looking forward to a nice tea of Steak with Dauphinenous (sp) potatoes but hubbie is out sorting his eldest son out (very long and annoying story ) so looks like we will have to have it tomorrow
Well tomorrow is New Year's Eve and a time to reflect on the year past and the year forward.
The year past has been one of the most stressful but I hope I have learnt a lot from it and not to fall into the same mistakes in future I've had some fantastic support from some of my fellow NW chums, which has kept me from going under at times - a big thank you to all (even the sarcastic ones )
The year forward will hopefully be a busy one for me, with sleepless nights but lots of happiness
  21. Cakie
Everything is a bit boring and dull at the mo. The sun is shining but not much has happened except mild sunburn on my lower back today whilst at a carboot sale.
I was trying to find more clothes for Tilly now she is weening (and making a championship style mess  ) I was lucky and found a woman who seems to have spent most of her husband's hard earned cash at Next etc, so I came away with enough clothes for the next 6 months for not very much money
House sale seems to be going ok (touch wood) and I am looking forward to getting down to Devon and finally settling. To be fair, I never felt settled here and will be quite glad to get away from the place
Oh and there seems to be a football thing going on........me, I was dancing my little booty off in the kitchen while hubbie watched the footie tonight  (he has Angola and is hopeing for the booby prize )

Well today has been a bit of a boring day for me. Catch up on a bit of sleep. I can cope for so many days of having broken sleep but then it just hits me and I have to wave the little white flag of submission and go to bed
Made a Chocolate Coca cola cake this afternoon  It tastes really nice but i have yet to put the frosting on it.......will report back the finished result
Good news is that hubbie has got his redundancy payment through, which while only being the government minimum, it still makes his bank balance more healthy and means he can pay me back what I lent him (don't worry, I've been online and repaid it already <_< )
Little fella is back at Nursery school next week so should get more chance to relax

Today we went to Bowood in Wiltshire
I have never experienced Wiltshire before and was pleasantly suprised that it is a really lovely countryside B)
Bowood is a fantastic place to take children between the age of approx 4-12. Little fella was a happy chappy all day long and if I lived nearer I would certainly purchase a season ticket

    Well not literally
Princess Tilly has been a very sleepy baby but recently has had a bit of a problem going to sleep on a night time
Little fella was a dream getting to sleep, come 7pm he would have crawled upstairs himself if he could
Last night was a total nightmare, with constant screaming  Eventually got her to sleep at midnight <_<
Tonight we had a gentle, quiet bath, then read stories (to little fella) but still she decided to scream the house down. So, after changing/burping her, I left her, and left her and left her. I started off leaving her for a few mins, then 5 mins then 10 mins. Really, really hard to follow through but when I finally left her for 10mins and watched the clock, she stopped She then moaned for 30 seconds but gave up

    Went to Bristol today
First reason was to got to IKEA, which was not pleasant but necessary
Second reason was to go to a science park place in the centre.....explore @ Bristol , quite good and would have been very good had Princess Tilly not screamed her head off for most of the time we were there
Anyway, it seems she is teathing She's only just turned 3 months but she most definately has white bumps comiing through her gums  (a small part has broken through already)
