Fresh snow overnight but think it's starting to melt today.
Got a trip to Billingham later but not sure if I should go with the chance my car, instead of my daughter, ends up ice skating

All 5 kids are off tomorrow so I'm enjoying a glass of wine seeing as the alarm is switched off and 2 of them have decided to stay at nannas. Been quiet here for a couple of hours but we had some immense showers earlier on. It's crazy how intense the wind gets with the snow. Leccy blanket is on so I'm going to creep out the window again and wait for some more snow!
I think this is an exceptional event, enjoy the snow and the late start

As someone who experienced 47c here in Abu Dhabi today, we LOVE visiting the UK. Back for a week in the North East earlier this month and we had thunder, rain and a lovely warm day. much more interesting than the same old sunshine, which believe me gets very boring.
I think we are looking to end up in Spain, Italy or France eventually. Any of which should give me my weather fix

everytime I caught a glimpse of it they seemed to be getting very up close and personal. Maybe it's because "Winter is coming"
