    Light snow on and off since 6.30 in aycliffe. lovely covering (perfect snow for snowmen) What's everyone's feelings about how far inland those big showers off the coast might get? All I need is a blizzard to make this event complete!

    Lol - I use to be like that - but used to live in Northern Ireland - we have had snow on the ground for nearly a week so I'm still happy :-) I totally understand the frustration though!

    Very light, small snow flakes swirling in the wind in aycliff - not sure what to think about the next 24 hours. Would like to think we could see more but only time will tell. Patience is a virtue!

    So am I correct now in saying that Friday will be very cold with no snow and I can enjoy it falling from the easterly on Saturday instead? Just checking as its all getting a bit confusing :-)

    Snowing quite heavily in Darlington - cant see if its covering the melt.

    Just started in Newton Aycliffe - small flakes but moderate looking at the Lamp post.
