    Hi Crazy hope its getting better but a lot a lying water and gusting wind,if you are going into the city can you post how it was,my relief is coming from Thurrock down the A13 and I have to go back down the A2/M2 ..Thanks

    48 mph gust at Whitstable but constant wind dropped down a little to 25mph

    Just looked at a live weather station at whitstable and the wind is a steady 30 mph with gusts of over 40 mph.

    Just been on the bad weather forum and they said the center of the low is just off the north cornwall coast !!!!

    Hi John should be a lively drive home in an hour, at least it will be better than Mondays,its good to watch but if you have to travel its going to be very risky.With all this warmth will we be having some thunder during the day?

    I am fine,at least you won't have the school run Monday,I think it will be busy on here from now on,the bulk of the long range forecast's that I have seen are giving us a far from mild snowless winter

    Some very iffy spots on the way in...the small gaps where powerlines etc go across can catch you out and put you in another lane..... if I get home ok I am due back Monday night....might take a long time.

    Hi anything-but I would join you but I am on shift Sunday night ,I will be monitoring this site all night so will be at the party but sober , not looking forward to the 65 mile drive home from London to Herne Bay!!! it was quite gusty and wet on the drive in tonight but it will not compare with whats due...

    Well not been on here for a while but I thought I would take this chance to wish everyone a good winter......whichever way you like it . Me I like snow but I know and understand why others don't. Have a safe and happy winter.

    I know car temp readings are not that accurate although mine seem to match my weather station I had 25.5C whilst travelling to Canterbury yesterday,only a few weeks ago it did not go above 5C for a week or more....20C difference

    Well what great weather we had over the weekend,took a trip down to deepest darkest Dorset!! Friday was great walking around Monkey World and I think they were glad it was warmer lol, slight case of sunburn on my head. Saturday was nice on the coast went to Lyme Regis which was very busy in the sunshine and cool breeze and then went out to Portland Bill and sat in the sun watching the waves crash into the rocks. Looking at the weather for this coming weekend I could guess whats going to happen, Sunday when I am fishing again...yes it will be cold again lol

    First semi decent weekend coming up weather wise and guess what...I am at work lol....seems like a pattern here ..missed most of the snow events due to working shifts. Might have to get up a bit earlier Sunday so I can show my white bald head a bit of sun !!!
