Alerts for: City of Calgary
Watches
3:41 PM MST Tuesday 06 February 2018
Winter storm watch in effect for:- City of Calgary
A long period of widespread snowfall, with total amounts of 25 to 35 cm is possible Wednesday evening into Friday.
Snow is expected to move into central Alberta Wednesday. The snow will move south into Calgary by Wednesday evening and continue southward through Wednesday night towards the American border. The heaviest snow will begin late overnight Wednesday into Thursday. However, there is still uncertainty where the heaviest amounts will fall. The snow is expected to end Friday.
A winter storm watch is an alert for the potential development of severe winter weather. Persons in or near these areas should be prepared for developing adverse weather conditions and should listen for updated watches and possible warnings.Avoid travel if possible. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. For information on emergency plans and kits go to http://www.getprepared.gc.ca/
Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. -

Special weather statement in effect for:
- City of Calgary
First snowfall of the season possible on Monday.
Summer will remain for one more day in Southern Alberta before an intense cold front moves through on Monday.
This cold front is currently producing rain over Northern Alberta. However, for many areas of Western Alberta an unseasonably cold Arctic airmass will cause rain to change to snow on Monday. Current guidance suggests over 5 centimetres of snow is possible for these regions. The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required or extended.
Please monitor the latest forecasts and warnings from Environment Canada at www.weatheroffice.gc.ca.- 3

There,ll be snow from saturday, then on and on till april....You,d like that sundog.

Piers Corbyn Review of Forecast and update to December
-
Doesn't this show that there is a flaw in Corbyn's technique?
Basically he using to predict the outcome on a random chaotic system by another random chaotic system's effect?
So if the first part goes wrong then the other part is going to be wrong.
Theres a flaw in every forecast, But he does prove the link between our weather patterns and the suns activity imo.
