I'm not optimistic although will recognise that these types of scenarios generally bring a surprise somewhere! Here in Stratford we are quite low and often have rain when a few mils away with a little elevation they have snow. Temp here currently is 5 degrees with a dew point of almost 3. The interest will be how swiftly the cold air moves in and takes effect but I think personally the south east will be the sweet spot.
No, I can't see any reason to as the dew point is rising and the rain is heavy but looking at the radar that will die off soon and then I don't think we will be under the band, we are too far west I think.
Rain til 2 am and then snow according to my iphone weather but it has changed literally ever half hour all day. We are always just too low I think. No idea re Met O, never understand how to get a detailed forecast from them.
