  1. Sunny 9°C NE (10 mph) Relative Humidity (%): 88, Pressure (mB): 1016, Rising, Visibility: Good Feels much warmer when sheltered from that pesky North Easterly, but out in the fields earlier it was more than chilly.
  2. Sunny 10°C NE (9 mph) Relative Humidity (%): 87, Pressure (mB): 1016, Rising, Visibility: Very good
  3. No rain during April for my particular corner of Suffolk. We've been watering our garden for 3 weeks now. Our (natural) pond is as low as it was at the beginning of July 2006. Have no idea where all the rain from the winter has gone. Cracks appearing in the back lawn and top paddocks. The hay meadow has just a hint of new green but with no growing grass I have no idea when we can expect to harvest for hay. Normally it would be about 8-12 inches high by now and we could start thinking about harvesting anytime from end May. We need rain asap and are getting more and more concerned as the month progresses.
  4. Sunny 8°C Wind: N (15 mph) Relative Humidity (%): 90, Pressure (mB): 1024, Falling, Visibility: Very good The wind is, unfortunately, cold and biting on an otherwise beautiful morning.
  5. BBC have also reported that a number of calls have come in from people in Kent reporting tremors felt at approximately 08:15.
  6. An impressive standard as usual. However, DS for me too. An amazing photo.
  7. cloudy 13°C S (8 mph) Relative Humidity (%): 77, Pressure (mB): 1012, Falling, Visibility: Moderate Sun breaking through. Feels warmer than 13.
  8. sunny 8°C S (7 mph) Relative Humidity (%): 96, Pressure (mB): 1019, Falling, Visibility: Good Temp now up to 12
  9. Quote: Own up who has lots of Daily Star snow today? Me! Me! 8" of it. Lovely, white, pure snow coating the trees and hedges and banked in gentle drifts across our land and surrounding fields. Then I woke up.
  10. Partly cloudy 7°C NE (9 mph) Relative Humidity (%): 88, Pressure (mB): 1022, Rising, Visibility: Very good
  11. Sunny 7°C Wind: S (5 mph) Relative Humidity (%): 95, Pressure (mB): 1023, Falling, Visibility: Moderate Stunningly beautiful morning - Suffolk countryside at its best. And, at last, we've got rid of the cold North and Easterly wind that's been around for so long.
  12. Sunny 6°C NW (8 mph) Relative Humidity (%): 83, Pressure (mB): 1025, Falling, Visibility: Very good
  13. Trust me. This is not fantasy. They spent years perfecting the technique on toilet roll holders. No-one with a Y chromosome saw a thing. And I've been a cloak-wearing protege for years. Especially when I'm chained to the Aga cooking a huge Sunday lunch or at the sink contemplating the mountains of washing up.
  14. Sunny 10°C Wind direction/speed: N (7 mph) Relative Humidity (%): 93, Pressure (mB): 1023, Rising, Visibility: Moderate The mist is rapidly dissipating. Another beautiful day. Yellow fields and new green for miles.
  15. 7°C N (8 mph) Relative Humidity (%): 100, Pressure (mB): 1022, Rising, Visibility: Fog As I write this, sun has just burnt through the fog.
  16. Ahhhh Mondy you're a sweetie. Delusional, but a sweetie. Edit: And clearly you've never looked at the photos of me in the vault or wherever OON puts members' photos!!!
  17. Keep up the good work - facinating reading your posts. Have family in NSW so I'm always interested.
  18. All 40 inches of our magnificent Penguin. That should keep Mondy quiet. Am I in the right thread?
  19. Morning Brian, hope you are feeling good today. Weather for my location: Sun 4°C Wind 25 mph Relative Humidity: 84% Pressure (mB): 1005, Rising, Visibility: Excellent
  20. Good Morning. Bit of a mess out there....... Clear 9°C Wind: 22 mph Relative Humidity: 79% Pressure (mB): 1006 R Visibility: Excellent
  21. Hey CC, congratulations! A truly stunning photo.
  22. The standard is incredible as usual, making it difficult to choose one over the others. However, the summer of 2006 stands out for me and No. 4 evokes the sense of sun, warmth and joie de vivre that is elusive, to say the least, with this winter's depressing weather.
  23. One of our barns about to be hit by thunderstorm on 22nd November 2006 (note how the colour is taken out of the picture by the weird light as it approaches)
