    Well that’s great news for north of the Thames. Not so for South. ?? Either way it doesn’t appear anything significant. Assuming UKV is correct if course.

    Yep. It's a carbon copy of the slider from the NW a couple of weeks back. No models were interested other than the ECM. Where did it end up going?.....Ireland>SW>Channel>N.France.

    Beautiful charts that would give the whole region a deep covering of snow. Nothing marginal about that. Would be some seriously beefy and prolonged shower trains setting up there. Shame it's the best part of 2 weeks away though. If we can get that scenario into +96hrs, then we can start to take it seriously.

    Mad scenes in the NW last night. 2 inches of rain, then turning to 4 inches of snow in some places. Now the thaw and very dangerous flood situation for many.

    Never chased. But it’s 100% on my bucket list before I pop my clogs. Need to see an EF4/5 up close and personal. Very jealous you get to do it pretty regularly.

    This is just one of those occasions where you need to forget the charts, forget the forecasts. Go to bed and hope when you take that excited walk towards the curtains in the morning, that you get that “glow” shining through and you just know when you open them everything is going to be white. If not then there’s always February....or March...
