    wow - it's quiet in here... maybe a little too much fragmentation on the regional thread areas? Being 6 miles west of brighton, which thread should I be on?

    temp is dropping pretty rapidly here - dropped from 7.2C to 4.7C in the last 90 mins.

    Thats fine - no bubble to be burst The photos weren't really meant to provide evidence of the 3 inches, just got carried away out in the garden. I've got a flat roof that is sheltered from north easterlies, and that now has a level coating of snow on it, up to the same height as the rim, which is approx 3 inches high. So based my estimate on that.

    Took the full force of the south coast streamer Photo evidence below - went from about 1.5cm's to 3 inches in a fairly short space of time. Really wasn't expecting this tonight. The trip to work is going to be a fun one I feel.......

    A very mean looking shower that passed just to the east of us, while we were up Devils Dyke last Saturday.

    Another shoreham local! hows it going ? Keep an eye on the local weatherstation here. Its touch and go with the temps at the moment, we will get some precipitation, but it will probably fall as sleet/rain unfortunatly - Just that bit to close to the coast ! :o You never know though, the colder air might win through, but it doesn't look to hopeful. I'm desperate to snowboard down Mill Hill !!
