Another dumping here in LB, must have had 3 inches since 6ish. Snow gone lighter now, but will be interesting to see if the heavier stuff moves back over here.

Sorry yes Beds again
I did post this Morning that the Dunstable Downs would be the place to go this Weekend for Sledging with the Kids, Saturday looks a cracking day with temps of 2c with Clear Blue Skies, all that Deep Snow on the Downs should be great fun for Kids and Adults and it is only 60 Miles up the M1 From London, might even go myself.
If it wont come to me you dont have to go far to see some great snow
Paul S
Yip was superb earlier, can't wait for round 2 tom. All net weather members are invited to the downs!

Hurricane expert on Khou news says cat 2 for wind, but more like cat 4-5 for storm surge! Interesting 12 hours ahead.

Good agreement on another landfall hit on areas caught in the last couple of weeks including Haiti/Dominican Republic and Cuba
I love hurricanes but not when one is heading straight for my mum in the Dominican Republic.

Recon isn't until this afternoon, She has been drifting south though only slightly which is not in the NHC script.
I did think that Iceberg. This does concerns me a bit as my mother is currently on holiday on the north coast of the Dominican Republic and I can't get hold of her!
I see TD10 has now formed, its a bit of a conveyor belt at the moment!

Has anyone seen this amazing video on the BBC website http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/7452416.stm It is believed to be the same tornado that wreaked havoc at the scout camp in Iowa.
