Pleased to report the sun is breaking through the cloud, Curent temp 19.1C RH 76% 1001 mb - steady. looking like another humid day.

Actually very little of the land in the UK has not been altered by man, wild wood should dominate but has been felled, so adding wind turbines would merely be man changing a landscape already changed by man. There are a few wind farms around here and they are far more attractive to look at than the Aberthaw power station and infinately more preferable to a nuclear power station and the thousands of years of harmful waste they produce. GW may be a bad thing but nuclear waste is a whole lot worse.

How true is that - at my mother in laws house they have jumpers on and the heating wacked up whereas im sat in a t-shirt sweating!

We have been out blackberry picking already and we will probably go out again in the next few days and stock up the freezer there are loads about. Looking forward to lots of crumble deserts Pity i dont still live in the house we grew up in as we had apple and pear trees, strawberry plants, gooseberry plants, rhubarb and plum tree.

If science wants to present itself as the quest to uravel and reveal the truth then pluton needs to be downgraded, it cannot start bending rules here or there to suit otherwise it becomes a faith (more so than i already believe it is).

I think what concerns me is the fact people are putting on the central heating in august! especially as the temps are (just) above average still. Its no wonder the planet is warming up if people are too lazy to put an extra layer of clothing on before wacking up the heating, heaven help people in this country if the winter does turn out colder than usual. Im sorry if i was under the misunderstanding that humans were warm blooded creatures, but it seems as if humans are actualy as reptilian as the politicians.
