Its snowing in Norwich. Not sure when it started but just looked out and everywhere is white. Hope it lasts, but that splat on the radar doesn't look all that big. Still magical though.
Will SATSIGS be making a distinction between posthumous ramping (We had some very cold rain here yesterday that looked like it could turn to snow) and predictive ramping (snow expected sometime soon) ? Please advise
here in Norwich we have a temperature of 5 to 6 for most of the day, and drizzle on and off.. just seems a bit mild and damp at the moment; at this rate I'm not very hopeful
Oooops! Had posted this as a new topic by mistake, will get the hang of it one day Norwich, clear blue skies temp 25, very light SSE wind, pressure 1019
Snowing in Norwich. Its hard to believe that its snowed on ten consecutive days here, sometimes lying fairly thickly, then thawing, then lying again. At the moment there's a light shower blowing on a WSW wind - just as I'd got used to the wind in the East (Mary Poppins on her way?)
Crazy weather in Norwich! A blanket of a couple of centimetres last night, melting in warm sunshine mid morning. Looked out a few minutes ago and and it was like one of those snow globes.. stopped now
Steady snow in Norwich this evening. It started with hail/graupel, quickly turning to snow and settling easily, although not to any great depth. Hope it continues.
Snow overnight in Norwich, now lying 3 - 4cm Just heard that a gritting lorry has crashed into the side of The White Horse pub in Neatishead causing some damage but no injuries
