  1. Well it's mostly sunny, but we had a brief heavy shower about 15 minutes ago. It's feeling cool today with a northwesterly wind. And it's currently 17.6C here with the sun back out.
  2. It was cruel the way he was cut off, give him time BBC!Not a bad forecast anyway,it was quite clear. Not looking too bad for my neck of the woods though generally unsettled.
  3. Well it will be an above average month that will be unsettled at times but will have some warm or even very warm periods. The CET for september will be 14.7C in my opinion,1.0C above average.
  4. Dull and warm 20.3C.Feeling warm to due rather high humidity.
  5. 20.6C here with plenty of sunny spells today, but as I speak it's going rather dull, and I think a shower may hit us.
  6. Thankfully all moths and flying ants have done due to the cool down, had a massive moth invade my house a few weeks ago and I really don't like the things!Just got the flys and wasps to contend with now.
  7. Yes it's been incredibly dull compared to the two previous.Vitrually every day this month I've opened the curtains of the morning to see depressing greyness, hopefully more sunshine for the second half of the month.
  8. Well maxed out at 18C with a completely sunless day and with rain first thing in the morning then cloud and some showers in the afternoon.
  9. I'm not going to bet on it but it would be sensational if we failed to hit it after the very warm June and exceptional July, that would make it quite a turnaround. But I can see a 30C somewhere towards the end of the month.
  10. Goregous in Birmingham now after a few bad days, quite warm as well with it being around 22C and likely to rise to around 24C later.
  11. I feel we will see the hottest day since records begun in this month it will be another exceptionally warm month with a CET of around 17.5C,a similar month to August 2003.Isn't 15.2C more or less exactly average by the way?
  12. What he said, not a cloud in thes ky today after a bit of a blip with 2 days of some cloud cover!
  13. July 1999 was definately sunnier than June 2006.As Summer of 95 has said, the second half of the month was actually quite dull while that July was sunny all month, rather like this July, but of course this July is much hotter.
  14. Well I haven't recorded a below 20C day this month, which speaks for itself. This has certainly been an exceptioanal month and I can't even see a below 25C day for the remainder of the month now so we will almost certainly reach the hottest July on record.Even the brief spell of cooler nights did'nt have much of an effect.
  15. Slight cooling for December's.In my experience in the last few years they have been mild and dull.I don't think we will see a cold December this year either,I can see another dry and mild one, though I can see quite a cold November possibly like last year's November, and I think we could be also in for a much more chilly October this year,a 2003 like October possibly. But I can't see past a very warm September or August meaning the yearly CET won't be below 10.0C.So I'm predicting that overall I predict the yearly CET will be 10.14C
  16. Really hot now at 27.8C in my garden, and still a couple more hours of rising temperatures to go yet.
  17. Well today has been a goodbye to the lovely warm wall to wall sunshine days with a high of 24C.It's cooling rapidly now .Also the cool breeze was still with us today. But it's goodbye to that and the fresher conditions now and tommorow it will be welcome back to the hot weather with very uncomfortable nights
  18. Well not cooling quite as quickly as last night,a warmer night tonight but should be comfortable at least.
  19. Also warm and sunny 24C here with clear blue skies.
  20. Well since sunset it's really gone cool for the first time since about mid-June I'll be able to sleep without moving about constantly. No humidity at all today with it maxing out at 22C
  21. We did'nt get as much rain as expected either but thankfully saw some decent rainfall last week to keep us going for a week or two.At least the grass is a little greener now but will more than likely turn brown again by next weekend.
