I think tonight's action has been played down. I think some people are going to see some big storms in the south east . Now looking at what's coming up from the channel right now !

The Bbc clearly showed this was arriving. It even shows the showers on the app between 9-12 . More storms for South tomorrow night

Anyone got an explanation for why we're seeing these thunderstorms so far east? Is it just a case of the unpredictability of plume events?
im in stevo i cant see them

There's no major pressure changes with a thunderstorm, more likely something to do with changes in electrical currents or magnetic fields I would guess
Brightened up again in London, looks like that's our lot for the day unless something builds over land through the evening
id look at the radar if i were you !

Best storm of the year tonight in Reading. Lots of high sheet lightning going off in all directions and a few cracking cg and crawlers to boot. Hoping we may get a second round later tonight, currently hammering it down again now.

rumbles and heavy rain here . bbc all of a sudden showing storms and saying some intense storms all throught the night ! i wasnt expecting that but it has been so warm
