They were showing the outside Broadcast earlier with Live Cg strikes and rotating Wallclouds, even showed a brief funnel cloud, show is pretty much over for this channel now though

cannot belive we have had laying snow all day now its nightfall and its melting fast temp steady at 1C

I am rather dubious of this picture, as this was a very messy Storm, and little visibility was around, also anyone know what the tree type is and wether it would be in full bloom, also anyone know wether the building is credible ??

I think its a shame anyone had to critisise this post as not everyone reading was here last year and people have taken their own time to give their accounts !!
I was not here in 63 but i remember my father telling me he arrived on a boat from India never even seen snow before and arrived to biting temperatures and 6ft snowdrifts in essex !!
My main memory was chrismas eve 1970 my dad taking me to the window and showing me that it was snowing heavily- magical !!

yep Stevenage....aka Michael Barrymores very own gen-u-ine HOTSPOT.
We made a high of 10.9C today, and its currently 1.2C. Mustn't grumble its been a loverly day!
Not lovely now also in stevenage!! got no heating !!

In Hendon too!Came out of nowhere,in fact when i first heard noise outside i thought it was a plane crashing, since about 15minutes earlier, i was outside and there was not trace. Spectacular lightning too.

Believe it or not, a brief thunderstorm has just whisked over North London and out into Hertfordshire.Not predictable on any radar, as far as i could tell. Mostly forked lightning and moderately heavy rain. For a moment there, i thought it was still summer!

Wow we have had a storm here that was better than all summer storms combined. It has taken out the power in a 300 flat block!!! Amazing and came out of nowhere!!
is it still going comin north in stevenage 30 miles away nothing
