Storms approaching Cornwall

Storms now approaching Cornwall.

For the storm phobic the BBC online early warnings of severe storms and online reports have caused chaos this year. They have taken to putting storm symbols for a whole day now even if there is only a slight chance last night there were symbols from about 3 am right up to 3pm today. Not a rumble. They did this no less than about 4 times during the summer and we had nothing. They are showing these warnings up to a week in advance. They never used to do this. The same is showing for tomorrow night and all day Tuesday, though i do think there is something more significant about Tuesday.

This happened in lincoln a few weeks back a rare phenomena temp went yp 15degrees due to a collapsing thunder storm in the atmosphere. That day when it wa 38 degrees

They BBC have taken the symbols off now done it on and off for 3 days now

See BBC has storm symbols on for between 11 and 2am tonight. No actual weather warning which is just as well. The last two proved fruitless

This weather warning for today has been there 2 days and yet nothing.

Yet another warning for thunderstorms all day,, had the same last week and nothing. Sunday boom we had a storm and only given warning at last minute! I swear the weather reports are worse than 20 years ago. They are way too far in advance now.

Is it just me or have those showers stalled over where it was hours ago ?

Well where did that come from bern forecast all week but today i never saw it coming. Plenty of thunder and lighting here in Stevenage and more to come

Generally i find the reports pretty accurate normally snd this was for herts only Not the whole country. It wasn't just apps the storm warning for the south. It was on everything.

I normally dont follow the odd one but these were on the whole of today. Not one rumble lol. Even the text ones said storms and there were weather warnings since monday for Herts!

Most storm reports were adamant that the south had a storm risk all today bet its tomorrow and sunday and next Tuesday lol

Bbc have tsken the P. After saying it would Thunder from 12pm to 7pm, hour by hour they keep removing the storm symbol and putting in on later. It went to 8pm then 9pm. Now changed to 10pm. This was for Hertfordshire. A storm phobics nightmare ! Its the North that copped it!

I noticed that. They said storms today for a week till about 8pm. Yesterday said storms from 1pm. Then today from 12pm Symbols changed from 6pm to 9pm am hour ago! To cover themselves. Meanwhile the north getting hammered.

I think the forecasts may have got it a bit off today. Think the North are more likely to get the storms than the south.

Next week looks horriffic for storm phobics Monday evening right through to Thursday
