  1. Weird weather last 2 days.. Thick high cloud cover yesterday.. And today seeing these new clouds this year more than ever...   2. Wettest day since the wettest spell of the year february 20th almost an inch of rain... The severe drought continues further east..
  3. Driest summer since 1989 or 1990 or driest year since 1976 the way its going.. 3 week drought is over today but really only just measurable rainfall...

  5. Amazing TM being 1000 feet up near enough same height as here temps Reefs temps similar.. Made 33.8c at 12.30 record hot morning as temps soared from 25c at breakfast time crazy... Temps dropped by 3.5c by 1pm when that west wind really picked still sunny.
  6. I`m dissapointed I thought 41c would certainly be reached... Models can t get a handle on the UK for temps for this unprecidented last 2 days.. Of course 40c was going to be reached.. Never seen such a huge swath of record upper air cover us before..
  7. Dramatic weather this afternoon not... A few distant rumbles rainband came across 2 tiny spots felt... Wind now dropped and feeling hot again at 29.6c and sunny.
  8. After that the wind changed to the west,the fresher air is heading in 29.4c now.. Thicker high cloud coming in too. Goodbye extreme record hot spell...it was interesting..

  10. The cooler air is heading in here now,feels like a westerly fan as that hot S wind changed quickly to the west.. A 3c drop in temps..
  11. The temperature is dropping big time now topped 33.8c now 30.8c wind really whipped up to the west...
  12. We re right on the border here north powys that heat is just seeping in more further north.. Reached 33.4c but seemed to of levelled off... much more wind today,mixing the hot air put more maybe..
  13. 19.5c min here warmest night on record temps rose later reading 23.4c at 5.45am... Old reading never got below 23c records again.. 32c already now,seemed a little cooler down in the valleys as it feels hotter here.. There was a sharp shower early on too big spots... Break in the high cloud cover,but more heading in another hour or 2..
  14. Just watched the video on YT so UK showed 36c for here and 35c for tomorrow...41 to 42c in east and NE good luck with those extreme temps... Dropped to 22c now here cooled alot...Still see a 34c on XC...
  15. So GFS overestimated and others for their 40c today....by 2c.. 42c still on tomorrow but maybe 41. whatever we ll see..
  16. Reached 32c under the tree well that beat the records anyway still reads 30c there now and.. My main reading reads 32.1c how the suntrap has eased off..
  17. Didn t I say 37c would be reached yesterday.. Looks like I made 34.5c its shot up last hour.. Under the laburnum tree need to go up to more to make it noteworthy 30c has been reached there now..
  18. 2006 heatwave was far more humid than this and lasted longer than 2 days... 31 under the tree or 32c during that peak... Still only reads 29.5c under the tree,got 3 thermometers now testing them...should reach 30c.. The main one reads 33.2c now..
  19. You learn something every day but most people wouldn t know that... By the coast at aberyswyth just beating 1990.. Who of thought that by the sea..
  20. Thats a scary looking chart they put out now.. Looks like a desert which it certainly isn t. Bring back the old maps which look pleasant and non fear...
  21. Shower s dying out mid level but passed just south of here.. Temp which more accurate at 29.9c with sun in cloud...
  22. Good to see some showers clouds heading in. That certainly wasn t forecast...
  23. I m not doing much next 2 days,time to do the work is early in the morning...
