Overcast with just the odd spot of rain/drizzle but hardly noticeable,it`s actually felt quite close today at 19.5.

Glorious day today with just 1 or 2 small cumulus floating past, 22.1c much higher than the last 2 days, we had more rain overnight too.

Another cool cloudy and windy day but dry.
Max of just 16.4 temperature now of only 14.2 it feels like autumn today.
Fresh, infact the wind`s getting more gusty now from the n.w.

Well it`s certanly been the hottest July in Wales for a good number of years.
I recorded some of the warmest nights ever 18 min for 2 nights and we live on a hill.
I recorded 32.0c briefly on that wednesday,boy it was hot for up here.
I`ve recorded temperatures since 1990.
I recorded a 32c then but it was an old thermometer and I think the sun sun got to it briefly.
Now that was the driest summer I`ve know,driest since 1976 around this area.
What was the cet for July 1990??

Cool and cloudy here so far at just 15.0c
Been light showers all morning and very little sun.

I don`t mind moths our cat caught a moth the other night and ate him before I got to it.
I hate wasps though,by the way is it true that daddy longlegs only life for 1 day,people I ask seem to think so but I have my doubts,infact I noticed one in the bathroom the cranefly you see sometimes with no wings and he`s been there 3 days now.

Dry and overcast here now max of 18.6c.
Been a very showery day here prolonged at times,then it brightened up late afternoon with some very high mackeral clouds overhead.

Currently 16.4 a drop of nearly 3 degrees and raining heavily,and it was 19.0 when the sun was out.

This might be the same storm that I remember that never got actually here, but I always remember as our neighbour had taken us out somewhere and the lights went out in the town.
Always remember then forked lightning looking out of the car,when we got back there had been no rain and it was that dark,this was the most memorable one for the actual darkness here.
