  1. A fine dry and sunny day, the breeze having picked up around lunchtime and this afternoon, but still around 14.0°C.

  5. This whole area of rain seems to have extended further west, than forecasted initially, chucking it down at the moment.
  6. Aligns more to the initial MetO forecast, I didn't really expect to see anything for this (the supposed feisty part) of the southerly surge, heading more to the eastern side of the UK.
  7. @Mapantz like you I'm struggling to see how the forecast from the Met Office earlier today really reflects what is happening out there. The inbound low they suggest will move across southern Uk. Right now it's way off their 16:00 forecast for the area. Forecast Actual

The overnight low was warmer than of recent with 5.2°C at: 02:35, currently 11.8°C, RH75% and light air movement from the N - NNE, with scattered clouds at an altitude of 1,700 ft and scattered clouds at an altitude of 3,500 ft.   14. Well that's been a meh kinda day, dribble all day and the temperature fighting to sustain it's earlier peak of 9.3°C at: 11:33, which its been unable to do as the current temp is 7.2°C.
  15. SilverWolf My soil measure shows a similar trend for the last month worth of measurement, and I live on a gravel environment, thus dries quiet quickly:
