Did ours yesterday, it was a cracking day to get it dry, with breeze, warmth and some sunshine, perfek. Locally winds are gusting around 38mph, but Treknow (Cornwall) showing higher gusts: As noted still a fresh breeze in from the SW, priming us in readiness for tomorrow/Tuesday by the look of it: Yellows are out already for the coastal areas on Monday: And increased area Monday night into all day Tuesday: Channel is looking choppy again: Very choppy down at West Bay

As much as they try, the rain stays either side of us at the moment: Today saw our annual highest temperature fall, by a mere 0.1°C , with it reaching a maximum of 16.3°C at: 13:53, our highest since Feb.

I suspect it MIGHT be a combination of things. It might need some decent compost to strengthen the soil , OR it might be what you put in there, OR it might be the position, i.e. full vs partial vs shade. I'm sure the garden folks on here can advise better than me, but I'd start by thinking, where is it positioned, it might receive little rain, so dry vs wet. So if you share the details where it is in the garden how deep it is, what are you possibly thinking of placing in there. I'm the the gardeners in here will take from me, bearing in mind my background is business analysis, so I try to determine "root" issues, ha ha.

Morning All, and overnight low of 12.4°C at: 00:52 has managed to peak at 15.1°C at: 10:53, even under mainly cloudy skies, yet EGHH reporting shows: The weather is CAVOK. That means there are no clouds below 5,000 ft or the MSA (minimum safe altitude), whichever is higher. This also means that no cumulonimbus or towering cumulus clouds have been observed and the visibility is 10 km or more or more. Meanwhile on golden sands with a fresh SW'ly its looking like this:

Well that moved through rapidly, and didn't even provide any measurable rain here!

Warm but not that warm, peaking at 14.9°C at: 14:36, whereas it reached 16.2°C at: 13:00 on Feb 18 this year.

Morning All, looking dry for the time being but cloudy and I'm sure we are due some more rain today at some point to keep up the monsoon season. What looked to be quite a deluge has turned out to be a dribble, so far 1.7mm of rain from this front, the heavier rain appears to be off to the north.

Yes, it's been really nice down here, after expecting a naff ol' day it turned out a 100%, dry, sunny warm, minimal breeze.

Morning All, the morning kick off with 100% wall to wall blue skies, which have since downgraded with a few towering cumulus at an altitude of 1,500 ft and scattered clouds at an altitude of 2,000 ft. Seems as though the showers are already firing up inland (around Salisbury) and a nice bow over the Devon / Dorset border adding more rain to those that received it yesterday.
