  1. 10inch+ being reported in most places in Dronfield Derbyshire must be 35cm+ on highest hills here an more snow forecast.
  2. Had another brief Hail/Snow Shower must be 5 or 6th we have had in Chesterfield today.
  3. Had an intense hail and snow shower in Chesterfield about 40 mins ago left a dusting but melted rapidly in the sun.
  4. Just had a brief Snow Shower in Chesterfield looking good for our chances of Snow tonight then as when i set off for college this morning car temp was still shwoing 7.5c.
  5. It was unreal couldn't believe it to be honest i just kept thinking to myself wow this isn't supposed to be happening how much more are we actually going to get as the snow kept piling up. Cant ever recall such a heavy fall in my life that wasn't forecast.
  6. Always remember this Mark that we were told to expect 5cm we ended up with 2ft +

  8. 2ft of Snow here in Dronfield back in 2010 from one fall it was incredible will never forget it i qill try and dig some photos out.

  10. My mum has said it's a good 6/7 inches.deep in Garden at Dronfield.

  12. Garbage here in Shiregreen freezing rain with the odd heavier shower that has left hardly anything.
  13. Well that is not coŕrect there is currently snow lying in Hillsborough which is one of the lowest places in Sheffield at around 50m ASL
  14. Quite bad as i go out chasing the Snow in the Peak District a lot and have got myself into a few hairy situations and got stuck a few times
  15. Trip through the Hope Valley up through Winnats Pass via Castleton then over the back of Mam Tor and down through Edale
  16. I have just poppped out for a drive parked up at Ringinglow there is a covering at the top of Ringinglow Road with the road covered in places at the top. Only slushy deposits on cars in ringinglow village at present Snowline i would hazard a guess at 350m+
  17. I can't upload The video of the Snow Shower that i got on the road from back of Mam Tor to Chapel road was nice to see the first Snow of the winter which settled as well temp dropped to 0.5c in the shower.
  18. Owler Bar an the surrounding Hills are 5 mins from us in Dronfield great views from there.
  19. Could see the tops of the Storm from Warrington & Merseyside from top of Ringinglow in West Sheffield.
  20. Heavy unexpected snow and covering in Dronfield and Holmesfield.
