New UKMO assessment suggests very variable snow totals into tonight; 3-6cm higher ground of W Country; 0-2cm low levels but mostly on grass
i may be wrong here , but going by netweather radar theres bits of snowing showing up just up from bristol , i take this as a good thing for southwest ect .

Snow prospects @ low levels (eg Bristol) look somewhat limited later Sun into Mon, based on UKMO high-res model; uplands more at risk 2-5cm

Seems to have pepped up a little bit within the last 2 updates of the MetO Radar.
Hopefully interesting times ahead, dare I mention a Bristol Channel streamer!
Favourite time of the year! Dont usually post until atleast November, but I'm really looking forward to this winter. There's something about snow that never gets old for me!
Waking up on a Monday morning to see 6" + of snow, and still falling heavy. Stops around Mid day for a few hours until the main front of snow pushes in the evening.
