  2. met office warning just updated to amber for south , southeast wales .lets hope it spreads to us all later
  3. from twitter Ian Fergusson New UKMO assessment suggests very variable snow totals into tonight; 3-6cm higher ground of W Country; 0-2cm low levels but mostly on grass
  4. yes knifeedge time , fingers crossed i read the sweet spot is going to maybe be southeast wales were not far but with snow we never know .
  5. i may be wrong here , but going by netweather radar theres bits of snowing showing up just up from bristol , i take this as a good thing for southwest ect .

  8. Seems to have pepped up a little bit within the last 2 updates of the MetO Radar. Hopefully interesting times ahead, dare I mention a Bristol Channel streamer!

  15. Favourite time of the year! Dont usually post until atleast November, but I'm really looking forward to this winter. There's something about snow that never gets old for me!
  16. Waking up on a Monday morning to see 6" + of snow, and still falling heavy. Stops around Mid day for a few hours until the main front of snow pushes in the evening.
