Am I right in saying we can expect to see snow (albeit light) early hours of this evening? The NAE charts are fairly broad in terms of the time frame, but the 6PM - 12AM chart has snow over us already. Would be awesome if we can see the first signs of it, early tonight. I would love to stay up and Lampost watch, but I have an interview tomorrow so I need my zZz's Edit: Also, what time does the next NAE update come out? -

I'm well pleased with Ian's forcecast, he seems confident that some places will see up to 10cms. It also seems like the band of snow stalls on our region! -

Anybody else think this is shaping up to be a good event for our neck of the woods? I think places around Gloucester are going to hit with the best amounts. Or I might just be a little optimistic -

From what I've read it looks like its going to get cold/very cold from Wednesday onwards. I have no idea about the snow prospects but I'm guessing by the doom and gloom (especially in the Model Thread) that it's not looking good Doesn't even feel like Winter compared to the last 2 we have experienced! -

I'm confused, there's a big band of precipitation coming our way. Is that going to fall as rain/sleet? Apparantly there's reports of snow in the West Midlands. Is it going to extremely marginal?- 615 replies
