    bizzare sight in hampton. looking up at the sky i can see millions of pieces of snow, but havy rain falling. doh

    2 inches of snow in Haslemere, Surrey. Snowing heavily and big flakes for 6 hours now, had it not rained first there would have been a huge total. Fair play to the met office / bbc who forecast this five days ao.

    just been for a measure up. 3 1/2 inches overnight, has topped the fields up to over a foot again.

    Good old Cranleigh, I used to go to Glebelands School there. starting to fizzel out now. 3 inches added. Bit fed up though as cant work again and Im self employed so not good. I have enjoyed it but looking forward to the thaw now

    been snowing here consistantly for 6 hours. an extra 3" topping up what we had lost

    I've been on the edge of this band for about 2 hours now, and the latest radar has it going further away back towards portsmouth.

    snow shower here at the mo, its actually been snowing all day, all be it a few flakes here and there but it has pepped up a bit recently. Its not going to add much to the totals here but there is still plenty enough for snowboarding/skiing so im still happy.Is this region going to get anything later on in the week, BBC shows Grey sky every day for Guildford

    steady thaw here. Still half a foot (sounds better than 8") though where it hasnt been walked on so cant really moan.

    note to self. Dont bother watching BBC forcasts, they have failed all week. Better off on here

    IMO its unlikely that your location would get 20cm from this lot, maybe favored sports in East Sussex

    Snow stopped here. Not much coming our way either by the looks of it. Showers had disapeared west of London in the lat 45 mins or so. Did I hear someone say earlier that BBC said cold is going to win next week. Part of me hopes so but also i cant work when its like this. Anyone shed any light?

    Been snowing here for an hour or so, a slight covering where any gaps had appereard. cant seeing it lasting much longer according to the radar. Can anyone please shed any light as to whether south east surrey may see any more tonight. thanks

    Well looking at raintoday local radar for Haslemere, Surrey, the snow is geting to us, going around us and then snowing the other side. lol

    Few tiny flakes here. Anything of any note is losing its intensity up before it reaches here.
