:drinks:Hammering it down again, we are really in the firing line tonight, if it carrys on like this till the morning (which it looks like it might), we may reach the totals predicted by the Met. Location: Haslemere, Surrey
7 hours solid snow now, although is moderate at the moment. 25 cm on car Quite a bit of sleet behind the band moving into Kent now, hopefully wont come to far north http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ Location - Haslemere, Surrey
been steadily snowing here for an hour or so, abour 2-3 cm at the mo, everything white but main road is clear. Is this the main band or is that to follow?
So when is our best chance for snow in the coming week? any significant snowfall on the way? Sorry for asking, but im inexperienced at model watching Thanks in advance
your not the only one . last Mon tues (3rd) i had the precip over my head for 12 hours, had an inch. (Haslemere, Surrey) in every town around me they had over ten inches and we are higher than them. Again its over my head (dorking) not a flake!!
Like i said this morning, from looking at rainfall radars this was always going to sink off to the north sea costs by the time it gets to southernmost counties.
Looking at the radar, is it just me or does this look like it will be in the north sea by the time it reaches us. EA and kent will get some PPN but that looks about it
