  1. Out. Quick walk. Avoiding the drizzle. Always good to see. First one. Out to Ribble Logs later to stock up. Apparently it’s getting colder. Our seasoned store is still damp needing another 10 months or so to dry.
  2. Going to be well on the quiet side in here if the 00z is anything to go by. Winter drought right through to the end of the run and temp drops not too harsh. Frosts nothing spectacular.   8. Morning. A good Christmas Eve all Topping out 12 degrees here on the marshlands. Wind still lively. Looks like a cool down is a week away potential but as ever we’ve been here before. Usual Terrier routine and out to collect the Topside (happy dogs! ) then home and locking up. Going nowhere. Not even the local at Salwick this year. That’s it. Done. Catering for Eight tomorrow.
