I hope you're right...... The front has progressed much quicker than what the Euro4 is showing....hopefully that means a northward push..... Where's HC when you need him lol?!

Hopefully the front stalling might give initial instability and hence pep up the precipitation.....

tbh don't pay too much attention at METO. Look for yourselves on the radar, ask people from other regions who have precipitation over them. Factual info is the best now...

Euro4 seems to show a boxing day type of scenario again. Looks like I will miss out on the heavier stuff again!

Couldn't agree more with HC....the best snowfalls have always been the surprise ones...when nothing was expected...hopefully the irish sea can have some effect.........

Again the same old problem with people getting too excited 4-6 days out. Trends (and good moods) at that scale - all and good, but where and what will fall from the sky a no-no. I personally don't bother looking at serious snow potential until T+6.....

Overall there's not much said so far on the first front that is coming on Tuesday. The focus seems to be more on the front that will come to us on Wednesday.

A nice line of showers developing in the irish sea near liverpool, those around sheffield might do well from this, if it falls as snow....

Not had a great deal overnight. Showers atm are sleety rather than snow...still got a covering though....

It's just typical...the precipitation is intense just before it reaches here then moderates down massively when it's right on top!! I'm not moaning....honest....
