  1. On a METO forecast I saw yesterday It suggest increased showers as the feature passed to our west, but I'll leave it to the experts!
  2. A slight covering from those two quick heavy showers about an hour apart. Not bad considering we didn't expect any here yet!
  3. Great to see the Amber extended into a larger area. Hopefully that bodes well for all of us.
  4. I didn't expect any convective activity today, or at least until tonight, so it's a good start. Hopefully we can build on it.
  5. A lot more showers for us westerners than I was expecting today Sno' problem!
  6. How do you think those of us north of the river will do tonight into tomorrow? Showers even more widespread and heavy?
  7. Popped into a shop and came out to a covering in spots, was only in there for 5 mins.
  8. Worth taking note of BA's post, anything could and probably will happen over the next few days. It's still relatively early on, warnings etc don't even kick in till 12 and so many showers weren't forecasted at this point.
  9. Snorbans?! How dare you. Rather live here than Luton. ? Yeah, hopefully we can repeat that luck we had in December. For us it's just going to be a waiting game. However, the rash of showers already visible on the radar does bode well for the next few days.
  10. It's annoying for our neck of the woods I know (St Albans here!) but showers are becoming more widespread as the day goes on and I wouldn't pin your hopes just on the warnings. Plus, we are in the warnings tomorrow when showers will be affecting almost anywhere!
  11. Well it's a decent start considering more widespread showers aren't expected until tomorrow into Wednesday when instability peaks!
  12. Haha, it is good fun! Also, I feel that the more shower activity even at this early stage will bode well for the next few days For those of us away from the Thames streamer.
  13. Surely you should be saving up sleep for when our chances improve Tuesday into Wednesday!
  14. I suppose with the current set-up we just need to see how much convection kicks off over the next few days. Hopefully those of us further west get a taste too!
  15. In terms of the map? I believe he works for 'Look East' and therefore this is his forecasting region covered.
  16. Brave words! Hopefully that convection does really get going. Even the December snow was a surprise to be fair.
