    Not had a anymore snow since a tiny shower at midnight, everything seems to just disintegrate before it comes to the boro, showers splitting as they go past us, must be something to do with the smog lol

    a long band of heavy snow just going to miss Middlesbrough, Hartlepool might get it though.

    What shadow? thought it was just going to be another full moon? Nothing spectacular? On the radar ts3 looked like it was going to get at least 30min of snow as it was in direct line for the whole shower to come over, but just before it came over, it died just before it got to my post code. I only got the back end, got a nice thin coating though. I'm sceptical about any more showers though, not looking that good tbh.

    Weird, actually just looked and its snowing, pavements is white. Doesn't look good for further showers though, bit disappointed!!

    Looks like I've got a nice supply of showers heading my way, just had one, light and grainy, melted straight away as it hit the deck!! More to come and its looking promising.

    The showers are building up and building up in the north sea at the moment, its never ending, I just hope we get some decent falls Later today, will the convection continue during the night?

    there is a band of showers heading south west hopefully this band will fall as snow as it comes over Middlesbrough I can only hope!!

    Weather warning on the metoffice site for Snow in the north East Snow showers are expected to affect many areas but especially coasts and hills exposed to the north. The showers may be heavy and give fresh accumulations of 2-5cm in some places and locally 10cm. Icy patches on untreated surfaces may become widespread.

    its 4*c here!!! Where is the cold, just looked at xcweather and even Scotland is warming up!!! I'm still thinking i'll get nothing the next 3-4 days.

    How far away from the coast are we talking here? Middlesbrough for example which is about 4-5 Mile away from the coast.

    I hope so Down Portmsouth at the moment, never snows here. But tonight i'm travelling home at about 9pm for 5 days off work .

    I'm expecting nothing this week!! Read the news on the bbc and the weather reporter was quoted as saying Northern England and Scotland would be very cold and dry!! Where is this snow going to come from when the front is down south!!!!!!! I'm very sceptical

    I'm a little worried about the night of the 28th, apparently the models are showing it will be very cold and we may have an easterly. I've got to travel from Portsmouth to Middlesbrough. I'm duty over xmas on HMS Richmond which is based in Pompey, I just hope I can drive all the way home without any big problems.
