    A covering on the grass here but very slushy on pavements and net settled at all on roads. Fantastic for end of March though

    I still think it will start as rain for the majority before turning more readily to snow midnight onwards

    The forecast I just saw with Peter Gibbs at 19:00 showed snow for anywhere north of Brum. Then snow risk extending south tomorrow. As usual with these situations some places will do surprisingly well while others will not do as well as expected. Radar watching time methinks

    Snow flurries on and off all afternoon and the temp did not reach 3C. It felt cold but not as bitter as yesterday.
