    Yep ... the BBC forecast this evening from Darren Bent certainly did not mention severe weather warnings for the Low ....just high winds ...

    Wow we have had a great start to winter .. yet this forum (for the SE) seems to have a small number of annoying whiners and moaners ...... particulary form North Kent! I am off now to enjoy a hike in the 8 inches of Snow in the Woldingham hills ....Don't despair more to come for the SE

    Please be aware there is freezing rain now fall ng in East Surrey ... I have never seen such appalling and dangerous conditions on the roads... just taken two hours to travel two miles from junction 6 M25 to Lingfield

    Morming from Godstone ........-3 and steady here a further 2cm last night. to add to the 12cm already lying..... wonderful day's walking in prospect

    Morning ..spectacular views on the Godstone -Oxted Road .......average snow depth around 15cm ... -1 ..... blue sky moving in .... Looks like there will a big gathering in the Hare and Hounds as the village makes no attempts to go to work!!

    Morning ..................-6 in Godstone Surrey ... the main snow threat for surrey will be Thursday pm onwards

    I am on he Kent/ Surrey borders near Woldingham.. pretty high here 260 metres and I would expect to see the first lying snow in the SE .... already -1.5 Here we go then!
