Just got back from Mold, that was some experience!! Some cars were actually buried, you could see the aeriels only lol!
Yeah it is epic around here. 25 inch of snow

The snow continues to fall. One of the best snow events in my living memory. Just concerned for the venerable and the emergency services as many communities are cut off and without power. Even the towns like Mold, Buckley and Wrexham are struggling

Incredible accumulation rates here at the moment. Snow is very deep. I'm going to have trouble in a Landrover Defender tomorrow even, at this rate

Wonder how deep tops of Berwyn are?......Cant see them or the Bryniau Clwyd....must be snowing heavily to the east hey Hywel?
Im right in the Bryniau Clywd, local hill is just over 400m, going for a walk up there soon. Been down to Mold in the Defender, a good 8 inches down there even. It is snowing very heavily here. I am expecting power cuts again soon.

I know! Where's this 40cm coming from? I've had heavier drizzle than this crap.
40cm was never on the cards for low lying areas.
We have 26cm here so far.. so maybe it will hit 40cm here

Snow has eased off a bit here, some massive drifts and lost power several times now

Coming down at a crazy rate here, up to 6 inches now. I don't think I'm going to be able to get out of our lane today.

Just spoke to my parents in Mold and they have about 6 inches too. Hard to tell the exact depth here but its piling up over 10 inches now. Lights are constantly flickering

Whiteout here.
Wind has eased a bit here but the snow hasn't. Looking a my table in the back which is sheltered there is around 10 inches on it. The Drifts are huge got some around the house that are 3 feet. They must be very big on the hills.

Someone needs to tell the weather that because its wet sleet here in Mold atm and were at 125m!!!
Only 5 mile from you but a lot higher up and its Moderate snow now
I expect you'll have some quite large amounts tomorrow too!
Its looking very good, even the Wirral should get a dumping from this!

Some of those colours in North East Wales (Southern Berwyns) seem off the scale e.g. 40+ ?? Or am i seeing things

First flakes of snow spotted, wind has picked up in the last few minutes, leaves blowing around all over the place. This is getting interesting.

Anyware in north wales should see plenty of snow tonight especially after midnight Good luck and enjoy by this time tomorrow should have at least 6incs.Always remember as a child i always wanted to know were the horseshoe pass was because it was always closed by snow!
Horseshoe Pass or Bwlch yr Oernant is near me. There is a snow around still from the past few days. There are still a couple of big drifts on the Horseshoe Pass from the heavy snow 3 weeks ago!

Heavy snow on and off all morning.
Had a dusting of wet snow yesterday and overnight, but this is nice dry fluffy snow today
