    had terrific storm here, lots of cg,s , thunder loud enough to wake husband and kiddies a few times i thought it was over and it suprised me

    i'm also in clacton,, and i'll agree although we have the best chance in the south east this weekend we always just miss out- yet colchester,ipswich can get a covering,, i'll l be suprised if we get more than sleet,just too close to the sea

    after reaching 11.4 at 11.30, the temp is now dropping and down to 7.8,, clouded up in the last hour- can't complain first time we seen any since saturday

    so i'm not alone then,, my mum and i always suffer before storms,,

    i have just read the guide to thunderstorms set up,, it was really interesting, as a young child i developed a phobia of t storms which has got worse over the years,, but desite this i am fasinated with them(as long as i'm not in them) and try to understand them We do tend to get nasty storms down here, is that because i on the s-e coast only about half mile from sea and only 14m asl ?? and why do i get a migrane before a storm??
