    3.1oC out in the shed now, still looks and sounds windy out, glad I am tucked up inside for the evening. No rain and looks quite clear so a cold night ahead.

    Cold and windy end to the day here, not been raining all afternoon though.

    Rather windy afternoon here and feeling very cold with it, few showers across the day, dry and mainly clear now, expecting a cold night ahead.

    No idea to be honest, I suspect a presenter.

    The back edge has only just reached Wales, could be a couple of hours yet for us if not longer till the worst is over.

    Rather gusty here, sustained winds I would put in the low twenties (MPH) at a guess. Not had any heavy rain just constant light rain so far.

    I can just hear the wind when it gusts outside now, even with the double glazing.

    And we now have some rather potent gusts of wind here.

    Temps appear to be rising here now, a few light spots of rain, nothing much and the wind still remains breezy with just the odd stronger gust.

    Look East forecast for tonight into tomorrow morning suggested the winds would be no worse than they were last weekend.

    Wind appears to be picking up a bit here now, still dry though.

    looking at the radar much of the rain etc is north of us, yes there is a band of it coming through this evening, but not as wide and heavy unless there is more not yet on the radar to follow later in the night.

    Feeling very cold out, more so in the breeze, dull and cloudy but still dry for now, expect this to all change as the evening gets going.

    Clear and cold here also, nothing wintry, not even a frost (which I am glad of as I was expecting to have to chip into the car this morning). As the light comes I can see there is just some scattered cloud, looks like a mostly clear ans potentially sunny morning willbe had here before the storm system arrives in our area later today.

    Just been upstairs and can hear the wind has picked up as it is blowing against the extractor vent in the bathroom, looked out the window and stars are visable now.

    Out on the edge of this small semi rural town and we do not get gritters here, no no idea if they have been out in this area, just looked out the window and looks cold and calm for now, no precip at present, think I saw a star or two when I looked to the sky.

    Totally agree, no sense getting upset over something you have no control over, que sera sera.

    Certainly is raining here now, but just rain at this time.

    Just noticed some fresh spots of rain on the kitchen window, is this the start I wonder?

    3.4oC going by the shed remote sensor this evening, had to nip out earlier and it felt nippy then. Rain has finally moved on, leaving calmer and clear conditions.

    Just some light rain here, continuous for a few hours so it put down a bit of surface water, feeling cooler in the breeze, now we have sunny spells the rain has stopped.
