Click on the previous button when viewing the charts on netweather. Make sure you do this soon as 6z will be rolling out in about an hour

Yes, ive been awaken by the strong gales. Id say hitting 60 mph easily. Very strong winds, strongest for the last 2 years here!
Facebook news feed is filled with people thinking its a hurricane!
-
last bit of snow went last night as milder air pushed in
-
clear skies is preventing thaw of snow away from sunlight unlike yesterday. Will be a very icey night
-
heavy wet snow.
clear here for now

north east london should be getting hammered right now according to radar

1/500th.. I'd need high ISO and about F1.8, only a few inches will be in focus lol !
Thats the whole point, its worth a try in heavy falling snow!
-
Thanks
Nikon D80 + Nikkor 50mm Prime
F2.5
1/60th Sec
ISO 500 (I know, pretty high, didn't have a lot of choice to pull that shot off)
Great stuff! Looking to upgrade mine soon...
Youre right about ISO but its a difficult dealing with snow, especialy trying to focus on an entity whilst you wou like to keep the falling snow appear in shape (unlike fast moving snizzley in ordinary cams)
If you do get any further hevier showers, try putting the shutter speed around 1/500 or even more and adapt the iris to this setting. Youl find it picks up all the flakes amazingly although the background will become dark. Worth a try

yeah, but too mild at just 103m asl, heavy snow shower only left sugar dusting, temp at 0.4C
Youl be fine in heavier bursts
-
Seems like the shower line has shifted south, so areas like stafford aee in firing.
-
Snowing pretty heavy again. Only lasts a few minutes but still fun.
Took a pic out my window.
Love the pic and focus setting. What camera you using?
-

Can see you got it good on the radar.. jealous.
So annoying by the time it gets here it's going to be rain because it'll be 2 or 3c
I wont forget these 3 days, 16-18 december 2011 cheshire gap effect, snow mainly in north staffs nd chehire, elsewhere not a single flake!
Still chucking it down, winter wonderland outside

Heavy snow in stoke for the last half an hour!
-
