Latest radar shows the area of light precip over me for ages has suddenly intensified
-
Amazing how it just all intensified
-
Just got to take each day as it comes. Never know what will happen!
-
Certainly got a lot heavier now
-
Is this expected to get heavier or is it like this all day?
-
It's settled very quickly even though its only light.
-
A sudden burst of lots of small flakes.
-
I notice when they mention the snow on Sunday they always mention the West Midlands potentially receiving some.
-
It's now been snowing since around 4pm yesterday but heavy snow since 7am this morning.
-
What happened to the radar at 1245, everywhere just intensified.
-
Band is moving very slowly now and more snow is building up on the back edge
-
Latest radar look very good
-
How we doing folks in the West Midlands?
Had a picture sent from home. Actually didnt look as much as I was expecting!!!

-
It looks like it not moving much eastwards.
-
Nothing more then a few flakes here ATM.
Its very heavy snow here, not far away there isn't too much
-
Getting heavy now!
-
Fine snow, but lots of it. Everywhere is covered now.
-
Heavier snow now. Just started to cover the roads completely, just in time for rush hour.
-
It will be here very soon, radar shows it can't be many miles away
-
Thanks. I just wondered because it seems more intense over Ireland
-
Is that the intensity of the band how it is now or will it get more intense when it meets colder air/over land?
-
It's been moderate snow here for quite a bit now. 2cm on the shed roof but around 1cm elsewhere. A nice surprise
-
There's no point checking what the forecasts and models says now, just nowcast.
-
Nice to see everywhere covered in a small layer of snow

Can't believe this. Only very light snow here for the last few hours but it's adding to the accumulations. A lot of lying snow now
