Evening all,
Just chatting with Storm Force Lewis on MSN (cant access the site) hes saying we could get amounts of up to 50cm by Saturday!

Woohoooo i like the sound of that Ash!
-
-1.2 here and definitely rain in the air
Not got above this temp all day and conditions underfoot are treacherous (know because I went down and my shopping slid across the ice)
One section of road is diabloical, entrance road to Waitrose car park and cars have been wheel spinning/sliding all day long
Apart from the madness in the shop which I didn't join, can't work out why it hasn't been gritted. Its a council owned car park and going to be an accident sooner or later, might have already been for all I know.
Were theres blame.... Theres A Claim....

excuse me i think you need to understand that some peoples location is the nearest major city to them, so this doesnt necessarily mean i am close to leeds, im a good 45 mins away and also other places are higher and other places are different so they will get different amounts of snow. just because the snow isnt being so generous to you. im in kirkless, which is the highest part of westyorks
Excuse me, I was only clarifying this because it is confusing for people who actually do live in Leeds when you are reporting foot drifts and blizzards and there is nothing to be seen.
Now Now Ladies .......

Rain has started to set in here.
Looks like we could be in for a very wet day, also yesterdays rain started to flood the streets and drains around here so we may have to watch out for flooding today!

Miss's has gone to bed, i'm stuck with ice cold blackcurrent Capri-Suns. (Was my daughters but i pinched them and threw them in the freezer for an hour!) It's like an oven in here with all the computer app around! Got a server, 2 desktops and a laptop running! Current indoor temp, 31.7c! -
same here, found a 6 pack in the fridge and she's gone to bed lol.
Haha, well misses has gone to bed but no six packer!
-

If so i will prob do that!
Good luck to ya mate, get to sleep and wake up at 5-6am I'll be saving you a long wait lol -

Im thinking off pulling an all nighter!
-
Wow, your all defo getting a good show down there!
Well i think i have decided to pull an all nighter! The models are apparently looking good for Hull On the NMM 12z!
I do hope so!
-
MMMMMMMM Burger King, just eating a kebab actually!
Anyway, way off topic! lol
Still spitting here, nothing out the usual, although i now have a major pressure headache!
-
Good to see you back Lewis.
Been pretty boring here so far, bit of a drizzle but not much else!
Rob
-
Because they mistakenly believe it is all going "linear" in a straight line to the north east of the UK, which it isn't. It is spinning around the low pressure area, hence the rain band will be stalling over eastern England
Now that really does sound more promising!
-
Are there any cams down south we can look at this approaching?
-
I dont suppose somebody can help, i have Netweather Xtra, but on the Radar, which HPA Wind Vectors should i be looking at for the precip?
Thanks,
Rob
