Yes just a case of wait and see now!
I really want to see some amazing rain and storms but just not the capacity of 2007!

WOW, so excited, but yet again so worried! lol

Going from what everyone is saying, the Humber area is looking to get a real dumping, am i correct in saying this may lead to flooding?
If it does then i will be getting the supply of sandbags out the lockup!

Wow, things looking really good for 2moz/friday.
I just hope it does move north slightly and we get some lovely storms!
Slightly off topic i dont suppose anyone has any radar images from the 2007 June floods, i have really been wanting to see some as i was amazed by the floods.
Thanks,
Rob

I have just been for a drive to South Cave and Market Weigton and the rain there was torrential it was unreal!

to be fair, if there is an weather event i am currently facing and i am in the convective/snow discussion thread then its natural that you just post in that thread as you want to air your report as 'live' as possible.
At the end of the day, this is a convective discussion thread therefore surely reporting storms/current weather is ON topic?, also how many people are going to keep switching threads to post/read live weather reports? Its just much easier to post in here and refresh the page but i guess i am just lazy.
Hit the nail on the head there i think!

The sun is coming out again here, and this is our tonic for thunderstorms today. The GFS etc is predicting a lot of cloud, which falls inline with brickfielders posts. If we get enough breaks (Sun) it will aid convection and we may see some decent surface based storms.
Nice, i like the sound of that!
Its so close to the time of the floods 2 years ago. Was a pain to clean up but i have never see so much rain in all my life! lol.
So whats your occupation then Lewis?
