We have had it all day! so far in the North. Relentless gusts with horizontal rain.
No chance of any snow though. The local airport (Edinburgh) is mentioning broken Cb in it's forecast (updated every 30 secs).

Very gusty here. Some real big squalls coming from the west.

Yep, Scott..seems to be getting worse. The latest AA pages have quite a few reports of "shunts"..
Just listening to my Airband scanner at the moment. Both Edinburgh and Glasgow airports have big delays with arrivals due to the fog. Many holding in the sky above..one had to go and divert to Newcastle as he was low on fuel...scary.. :blink:

Been foggy here all day. Visibility only a few hundred metres. 3C, but feels colder.
Hearing about a lot of minor travel accidents coz of the fog. Maybe worth issuing an alert due to the hazardous WX here and in general, Central Scotland.

Far north weather station with only a covering of snow @2.40pm. Note the clear blue skies above. I seem to be stuck in the middle here. To my north very clear and to the south very grey. Overhead, i reckon the sky is brightening up. Oh well, they're goes my chance of some snow.
The only white stuff i'll see tonight is probably a hard frost :lol: -

Wind variable 360' to 070' @ 4kts. Temp 3C/Dew Point -2C. Overcast with heavy grey skies and no snow!

Weather here is calm. Wind dropped considerably since last post. Temp 3.1C. Skies clear; strange as i don't stay that far away from P.Tattum.(who was having sleet/rain earlier)
If there's no snow in Inverness and surrounding areas, then what chance do the rest of us have? Hope i'm wrong though

Gusty winds here now. N by W more so too. Small rain shower just passed by, temp 7C, but feels a helluva lot colder. Listening to Edinburgh airport, via my scanner, they have winds gusting 28knts.

Persistent rain the past 2 hours.
Temp 17C. Wind now SE. Wind earlier was breezy.
Does feel warmer than earlier too..thunder brewing???

Thunder here this morning too..one very long rumble of thunder followed by another couple of smaller ones. Nothing since...this was at 9.05am by the way...Cheers all.
