  1. East Coast railway closed between Berwick and Morpeth as Chathill station has got drifts of snow higher than the platforms, snowploughs on the way
  2. Heavy snow again here in North Seaton very gusty winds
  3. Blizzard again in North Seaton visibility right down with blowing snow
  4. Big flash of lightning down near Blyth no thunder on shower just of coast
  5. 850mb winds coming through at 110 deg at the minute slowly working there way to E
  6. Looks like on radar everyone under the same shower as its a big one
  7. Still got blizzard up here in North Seaton visibility must be down to 200 yds at the most
  8. Blizzard again in North Seaton massive flakes this time no beanbag stuff
  9. Currently got heavy snow in North Seaton visibility right down
  10. Just got in from work seen a canny big flash of lightning up Amble way now in the house at North Seaton and its snowing heavy
  11. 8/10 in Newcastle now visibility down to 400yds beanbag with some larger flakes
  12. Can see some rather big CB’s coming ashore off Newbiggin, also still got the polystyrene snow hardly any big flakes
  13. Stopped now in Newcastle sky clearing up time for the showers to start
  14. 3 and a half inches at Walkergate (Newcastle) and still coming down but a lot lighter now
  15. Gonna be an interesting drive home at 4am i would think from Newcastle to Ashington
  16. Heavy hail shower here at Walkergate turning things white now
  17. Few flakes starting in Cramlington blowing in the wind
  18. Sorry i ment when the snow will start Im at work on nights on Mon/Tue so was hoping i would miss the heaviest snow
  19. When are we expecting things to kickoff? Sunday night/Monday morning?
  20. Took this tonight (2045) of the shower that passed north of Newcastle no sferics from it though looked might fine to
  21. Large CB goin up south of Newcastle looks impressive from here
  22. Quite lively thunderstorm whilist driving from Newcastle to Ashington few large flashes loud thunder pity about the low cloud though
