Low cloud starting to roll in now at Walkergate Are we expecting anything tonight or just damp rainy stuff

Looks quite surreal at the moment if i look south its clear sky with moon look north and its lightning every few seconds and booming thunder

Working outside tonight some strikes are huge weird thing is the thunder is very quiet

This was the gust front over Newcastle as the storm approached, looked awesome

Light snow shower just passed through toon nowt substantial but its a start

Just been over to Throckley and its all covered with snow and coming down wuite heavy until u get to A1 then just small flakes and not much lying
