    Marvellous, what could be better, trailing round the shops in Harrogate doing my Christmas shopping with big fat flakes of snow falling....this is what Christmas is all about... Sadly it turned to rain later.

    If a couple of degrees warmer it would be acceptable to assume this is April. Short sharp showers, but blue sky and quite pleasant.

    I took the ferry across Lake Windemere today and it was idillic. Calm, clear and sunny. Stunning. Now, however, back in Ilkley its freezing.

    The temperature here is rising rapidly. (I am talking outside before any of you jump to conclusions). Strange really as all my customers have been discussing the impending cold spell and the probablility of snow this weekend. I am seriously tempted to emigrate to the Carribean.

    At this rate I will be opening a shop in Iceland for an improvement in temperature. I can't remember it ever feeling as cold in November.

    Its been a stunning day here, blue sky and plenty of sunshine. Tonight it's freezing, but an amazing sky, filled with stars.

    STILL thunder and lightning. Quite spectacular all in all.

    Very loud crashes of thunder and amazing lightning, just above Its so dark; feels like the end of the world. All very spectacular though!
