never know even if it does is that a second band following on behind?Looking at the radar I think it will have cleared your area in the next 10 to 15 mins

Moderate snow now with some decent sized flakes chucked in ; hope this keeps up for a bit longer and then stays around for a while and doesn't melt! Now I have snow cover it's protection time haha
And going on the heavier side for snow now

it's snowing in thornaby and were normally one of the mildest in northeast haha but yeah for you coastal guys may have to come in land but good luck anyways pal!Temp has shot up to 2.1 here the precip needs to here quick or i think it will just fall as rain here

yes I just seen it as I was driving the snow is now trying to stick but struggling ATM due to wet ground but is now icing overThere was a large flash of lightning in that shower approaching Teesside just now - was outside and saw it distinctly.

Just had a good old wintry shower started as rain and turned to full on snow when at highest intensity but has petered out to light rain so as temps decrease tonight this could be very interesting

Snow can fall in temps upto 8c however the dew point must be subzeroCan someone just my memory a jog...whats the perfect temp for snow and the dewpoint...yes its been a while.

first 10 days look milder than I first thought but still think a second half of the month will be colder so revising to 3.2c2.2c

a very small northward correction we need desperately that would be agonising to watch!Looking like the snow will be just south of the region going by the latest forecast from the beeb, I'd keep an eye on Saturday though we could see a bit of snow then if it survives crossing the pennines

Id say a 9 as wouldn't drive for miles for snow but I love it so much! Just something you can't beat about snow falling in your own back yard/garden!
