    Why do people do this? The met office isnt there for the fun of getting people's hopes up. It's a proffesional site, If we would not be seeing anymore snowfall they wont of just updated the warnings to orange and be saying 10-15cms would they?

    Never seen such heavy snow before, shame it was 2.2c so it just made the ground wet then when the heavier stuff came in it only stuck to the cars and grass, Temperature currently 1.3c. Anything more on the way??????? :huh:

    Just shows don't it, Im 5-7 miles from you and because im not near the mersey it's 0.3c outside. The cold air aint arrived yet. it will fall to around minus 3 overnight BRING ON SOME SNOW! sadly we got 6inches last sunday, Rained after it waa -Crys-

The band of snow moved 40 miles more North than expected and has left me with 4cm's . It started at about 5.30am and is still snowing! Going to be a fun day in school

    yeah got a load of pics, Will post them tomorrow. How deep is your snow and whats your current temperature?

    It may all be over now. 6 inches on the grass, 4 on paths, Rising again, now 0.8c, Mind you it was snowing at 2c before in the afternoon so theres no reason why it should rain at all.

    That is a tad wrong. that shows sleet here at 8.20pm, we had some moderate snow then. If this turns to rain i will be smashing my head against the lamppost. Theres too big of risk. I want the precip gone for now. No chance of that though :lol: why does there have to be a mild sector???

    5 inches now on the grass. I didnt think the precip was due this far west. 0.4c I don't like that temperature. It has slowly risen a little something like 0.1c every 1 hour, Will it turn to rain here?

    It's Just you Just had continues snow for an hour and a half leaving 3cms to add to the 1-2 inches we already had, The flakes were huge! Hopefully more to come?

    Tell you what, I'm so happy. We have had 1 inch of snow overnight and thats just on paths. it is 2 and a half inches on the grass and still snowing at present. It came around 3am with absolute huge flakes! Pictures coming soon WOOOO!!

    Stop looking at the radar and look out of the window Much more accurate you will find They can easily pick up in intensity so don't worry.
