Yes likewise. I bet the chiltern hills near oxford are going to get a pasting. Band of showers looks similar to the frontal rain we had last night now, it keeps growing. -

Thing I don't understand is why they lost intensity heading into the somerset, Bristol, Dorset area only to rapidly gain intensity in the east of our region?

Some Light sleet fell here, ppn intensity keeps breaking up just around me and pretty much all missed. Another bust.

Looks to me like the showers are fizzling out a little but maybe im wrong.

Still looks light an patchy entering Bristol chanel and central West Country areas. Decent couple of cells formed south wales and south Devon corn areas.

Those showers look light and patchy in nature. We need to see rapid development if anything meaningful is to be expected.

Well net weather's forecast shows 12mm of snow between 11am and 3pm and met office shows heavy snow too. Could they both be wrong!?

Well the back edge has reached me and it was on the turn but not quite made it before turning to light drizzle. 1.6c Maybe more luck further east if cold air digs under a little more with elevation.
